All are invited to the PrairieFire BioFuels film screening party! Thanks to Willy Street Co-op and their Community Reinvestment Fund, PrairieFire received a grant and hired two local filmmakers to create the documentary, which contains three parts:
1) An introduction to biofuels, including biodiesel, vegetable oil and ethanol
2) An introduction to PrairieFire and a history of the co-op
3) An in-depth question section, including a discussion about the differences between one and two-tank vegetable oil conversion systems
The screening will be held at the Goodman Community Center, located at 149 Waubesa St., on Friday, February 20th, at 6:00
This event is also a fund raiser for PrairieFire BioFuels Education Foundation, the recently established non-profit arm of the cooperative, and we are suggesting a $10 donation at the door.
Refreshments have been generously donated by local establishments such as Glass Nickel Pizza Co., Willy St Co-op, Bunky's Cafe, Nature's Bakery and L'eft Bank Wine Co.
